Launched in 2024, the LaLiga EA Next Gen Draft is a global initiative aimed at identifying, educating, and developing young football talents across different regions of the world.
The project uniquely combines EA Sports’ digital innovation with LaLiga’s elite football ecosystem, creating pathways that encourage youth participation while strengthening community values through football.
Through this initiative, football events are organized in multiple territories to scout outstanding players, with top performers emerging from drafts held worldwide.
Players selected from the Lagos Draft will earn an incredible opportunity to travel to Spain for 10 days, with all expenses fully covered. During this period, they will experience LaLiga and EA Sports programs firsthand, train in world-class facilities, and gain invaluable exposure to European football culture.
As the spotlight turns to Lagos, Shola FC Academy will be aiming to make a strong impression, as preparations intensify for one of the most exciting youth football events of the year.
